About Mini Mites Hockey
LCA Mini Mites Hockey is one of the most popular beginner hockey programs in Regina. Geared for 5-6 year olds, the program is a fun way to learn the basic skills of Canada’s biggest sport.
Mini Mites players should have basic skating skills. Nothing fancy, but our instructors will be more focused on helping the kids deal with skating with all the gear rather than learning to skate. LCA offers a great Learn to Skate program for kids just getting started on the ice.
In this class, we usually play 20-30 minutes of games per session along with 20-30 minutes of drills/skill development. All players need full hockey gear including a stick, helmet with cage/full face shield and a throat guard. Jerseys are supplied.
Dates: Tuesdays – Classes start up again in Oct 2023
