Phase 5: Landscaping, Picnic Area, Trees, shrubs and a Pollinator Garden
Phase 5 of the Lakeview Park Project will include:
Landscaping included site preparation and grading, irrigation installation, hydroseeding, and pest treatment (completed by PG Hydroseeding in October-November 2024). LCA received a grant from the City of Regina in 2023 to help support the landscaping work.
Furniture, including picnic tables and barbeques, was installed in the picnic area by West Oak Investments in November 2024.
The Pollinator Garden was seeded by PG Hydroseeding in November 2024.
The trees, shrubs, and mulch will be installed in Spring 2025 by the City of Regina’s Forestry Department in the beds prepared by PG Hydroseeding. LCA received a grant from the City of Regina in 2024 to help support the trees, shrubs, mulch, and pollinator garden and associated landscaping.
