Local Library Literary Logs = Large Loonies for Little Lads and Lasses
After receiving four emails this week about this contest, you just know it’s post-worthy…
For the second year, kids across our fair city will be competing in the Regina Public Library‘s Mayor’s Mega-Minute Reading Challenge. The challenge is for kids aged 5-15 to read a combined 10 million minutes during the merry month of May.
All your child needs to do is pick up a Reading Log at any RPL branch or at the contest website (or just download the reading log here) and keep track of how much you read every day. You can read on your own or organize your classroom or a group of friends.
Make sure to keep your Reading Log up to date since they’ll be drawing 15 prizes each week, and at the end of the month, they’ll be drawing for some huge grand prizes including electronics, bikes and a trip to California!
Find out all you need to know by talking to your local librarian or head over to the Mayor’s Reading Challenge website.
