ODR Update
The most recent communication from the City of Regina regarding the Lakeview Park ODR is below.

This communication serves to inform all community associations that the City of Regina’s outdoor ice program will be concluding this week due to rapidly deteriorating ice conditions.
Recent inspections across all districts reveal a significant decline in ice quality, consistent with the forecasted warmer temperatures. Key findings include:

- Problematic frozen slush and snow accumulation.
- Stand-alone sites that are thinning and nearing the end of their usable life.
- Some rinks are now unsafe, with rough centers, turf/flooring exposed and exposed crusher dust/asphalt at the edges. Majority of these rinks are in rough shape with soft, bumpy, and melted ice.
Based on these reports and the projected weather forecast, it is no longer safe or feasible to maintain the outdoor ice rinks. Therefore, we are announcing the closure of the program effective at the end of this week.
